Here's a photo of my sewn block. It was such a bleary, dreary day outside that I chose a fun spring print for the cup. :)

How I made it this far into football season without posting a football-inspired block is beyond me! I colored this one green in honor of our local high school team advancing to the semi-final round of the state playoffs last night! Go Bulldogs!

Block #37 - Simple Tree

Block Name: Simple Tree

Size: 6"

Here's a very simple paper pieced tree for you to print and sew. Uses only one foundation pattern and six pieces of fabric...can't get any simpler than that!

Have fun choosing the fabric for your tree...I can see this in holiday fabric (green with a little red).

(BTW, I'm sorry for my absence, but my dad has been really sick and I've had to do lots of extra things for him while he was ill. He is recovering nicely now, so I have more time now. )
