Today's block is a more traditional block. It is known by several names: Crossed Canoes, Santa Fe Quilt, Indian Canoes, The Dragon Fly, Twinkling Star, and Tippecanoe. It is paper pieced in four units, two in exact contrast to the other two.

If I had a nickel for everytime I've said that, I'd be rich! Having spent 22 years in music lessons and 22 years in music education, a music symbol seemed the perfect subject for today's paper-pieced block. At least to me. ;-)


As all of the previous blocks have been, this one is paper-pieced and it measures 6" finished size.
